ABOUT GAYATRI ASOKAN : Gayatri Asokan is a singer who has made her mark in Indian film music, Hindustani classical and Ghazal genres. A brilliant musician who has collaborated with the likes of Maestro Ilayaraja, Padma Bhushan Sri K. J. Yesudas, Vidyasagar, Johnson, Ouseppachan, Bijibal, Gopisundar and more, she has won many coveted awards like Kerala Government state award for best playback singer and many more. She has a regular presence on TV with her Ghazal show Khayal and also Music Mojo in Kappa TV where she dapples with experimental genres. Gayatri has five solo spiritual albums to her credit, for one of which she has composed the Bhajans. The album Sankirtan, Smaran, Vishuddhi, Anahata, Shivasahsranamam is widely popular all over the country and are available online. She has performed in the prestigious Shanghai world music festival in the fusion repertoire. She has done fusions shows with maestros like Ustad Fazal Qureshi, Shankar Mahadevan, Purbayan Chatterjee, Gino Banks and many others. Her solo Hindustani classical album was released by Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia in Bangalore under the banner of the prestigious Sabha Gururao Deshpande Sangeet Sabha. Gayatri is presently training under the doyenne of Kirana Gharana Pt. Vinayak Torvi. She is also trained in ghazal and thumri gayaki under Vidushi Shubha Joshi. Her new Ghazal album Ghazal Gaze was launched by Times Music at Khazana Festival 2017. It's all available on online portals including iTunes. ABOUT SAIF NAEEM ALI THIRAKWA: Saif Naeem Ali is a Sufi and Ghazal singer, known for his performances and lineage in classical music. He comes from a musical family, with his grandfather being the renowned tabla maestro Ustad Ahmed Jaan Thirakwa. Saif Naeem Ali was trained by his father, Ustad Naeem Ali and is also a disciple of the legendary Ghazal maestro Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan Sahab
